Friday Hill House

Honouring the Past, Shaping the Present

Rooted in history, designed for today—Friday Hill House is a celebration of legacy and reinvention. This Grade II listed manor in Chingford, London has been thoughtfully transformed over five years, emerging as a unique collection of contemporary residences that honour its rich architectural heritage.

Inside, original features such as sash windows, ornate moldings, and lofty ceilings remain intact, quietly telling the story of the building’s past. These elements are carefully paired with modern interventions, creating a dialogue between eras—a home where historical texture and present-day elegance coexist.

The surrounding grounds have also been reimagined, accommodating new homes with a sensitive approach to the landscape. Every decision, from planning to construction, was shaped by a respect for the natural environment and the estate’s original character.

Friday Hill House is not merely a renovation. It is a reawakening. A place where time converges, offering residents the rare opportunity to live within a heritage that feels both timeless and newly alive.
